AnchorSix (“AnchorSix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides managed IT services, cybersecurity, and related technology support services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our websites, interact with our support portal, communicate with us, or use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

  • Through our website(s) and web forms

  • Through our support portal and client communications

  • During sales, onboarding, and support interactions (including phone, email, and chat)

  • Through SMS/text messaging programs described below

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control, even if they link to or integrate with our Services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

A. Information you provide directly

  • Contact details (name, email address, phone number, business name, job title)

  • Scheduling and inquiry details (reason for contacting us, appointment requests)

  • Support details (tickets, device/environment details you submit, troubleshooting notes)

  • Billing and contracting information (as applicable for clients)

  • Communications you send to us (emails, chats, call notes)

B. Information collected automatically
When you browse our site, we may automatically collect:

  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, timestamps

  • Cookie and similar tracking data (see Section 6)

C. Information from service providers
We may receive information from vendors that help us operate (e.g., scheduling tools, website hosting, analytics providers, messaging providers, and support/CRM tools), consistent with this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services (including support, troubleshooting, and account administration)

  • Respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and communicate with you

  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience

  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, and protect our rights and systems

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., website hosting, analytics, ticketing/support tooling, scheduling, communications, and messaging delivery). These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it.

  • For legal and safety reasons if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

  • In business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We also honor browser-based opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required by law.

5. Text Messaging / SMS Privacy

AnchorSix uses SMS/text messaging for two different purposes, each with its own consent method:

A. Help Desk Verification (One-Time Passcodes / OTP)

If you request a verification code (for example, when contacting our help desk or using our support portal), we may collect and store:

  • Your mobile phone number

  • Consent status (request/confirmation of the code)

  • Message history, delivery status, timestamps, and related metadata

We use this information to send OTPs, verify identity for support, prevent fraud, provide customer service, and maintain compliance records.

B. Optional Non-Marketing Operational Texts (e.g., appointment reminders, service updates you request)

If you opt in, we may send operational messages you request such as appointment reminders or non-marketing updates.

C. Optional Marketing Texts

If you separately opt in (for example, by checking a marketing SMS consent box on a website form), we may send marketing or promotional texts. You can opt out at any time (see below).

Required mobile data statement:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. We do not sell mobile opt-in data. We may share limited information with vendors who help deliver messages (such as messaging platforms and carriers) solely to operate the messaging program and deliver messages you request, under confidentiality and security obligations.

Opt-out and Help

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at (801) 225-3800 or [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
